Every fall, just as the leaves begin to change color on Old Forge Mountain, our camp owners/directors (Bryan and Melissa Fitzgerald) hit the road for our annual Home Show Tour. Traveling around North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, and Tennessee, they gather together with returning camp families and prospective new families alike, enjoying good fun and great fellowship.

For first-time or prospective camp families, we invite you to attend the home show in your area. Home shows provide a wonderful opportunity for you to meet and speak with Bryan and Melissa about how we can partner with you to provide the best experience for your camper. Your children will make new camp friends as they get excited for their first time at Highlander, and you’ll be able to speak with other Highlander parents to learn about their experience firsthand.

For returning camp families, home shows make it easy to meet with Highlander families in your area (and families who are considering summer camp for the very first time) to reminisce about your time at Highlander and dream about the summer ahead! And remember, if you know of a family in or near one of these cities who might be interested in Camp Highlander, please invite them to the show. If they register, you will receive a 5% referral credit for your camper!

We have postponed all home shows until further notice.

Reunions

Then, as each new year rolls around, our entire year-round team hits the road once again for our Camp Highlander Reunions. Every January, we escape the chilly, wintry weather of our mountain home to spend a couple incredible Sunday afternoons (one in Florida, one in Louisiana) with our favorite camp people! Unlike home shows, the reunions are larger and more energetic as we ramp up the excitement for the upcoming camp year! However, just like home shows, reunions are still a wonderful way for new families to speak with our directors, learn more about camp, and meet other camp families in their area. The bonus? We raffle off incredible prizes like Highlander gear and special cabin trips!

We have postponed all reunions until further notice.
