For first-time camp families and experienced veterans alike, we offer sessions to fit every need, schedule and budget! From one week (Kick Off Camp) to seven weeks (combining A, B and C), we’ve got you covered! Read below to learn more about each sleep-away session we offer.
A great introduction into camp life, Kick Off Camp packs all the fun and excitement of our longer sessions into one incredible week! While Kick Off Campers do not participate in camper choice days or off-camp trips, they do enjoy nearly all of our on-camp activities inlcuding kayaking, archery, horseback riding and more!
Session A is the first of our multi-week sessions at Camp Highlander. With a full two weeks dedicated specifically to programming, Session A allows campers to participate in all of our on-camp activities, various off-camp trips (depending on camper age), a cabin overnight and some of our most exciting evening programs!
Session B is similar to Session A with its programming, but also features our biggest party of the year - the Fourth of July! From our Stars & Stripes competition to a cookout on the field, we celebrate our nation’s birthday in spectacular fashion! We even conclude the festivities each year with our very own fireworks show!
Session C is our longest and most intense session of the summer. It offers two full weeks of activities including various off-camp adventures, cabin overnights and our most electrifying evening programs! The most exciting highlight of Session C, however, is our four-day, camp-wide competition known as Color War!
At Camp Highlander, we’re all about family! While we recognize the importance and impact of our traditional sleep-away sessions, we also see tremendous value in families sharing the summer camp experience together. That is why we are glad to offer three separate family-focused sessions each year! Read below to learn more about our family camp offerings.
