Since 1957, we have partnered with parents and families to build character and confidence in the lives of children as we provide lifelong memories, authentic friendships, and an undeniable sense of being loved.
Every summer the health, safety and well-being of our campers and staff is our top priority. We are working to continue to ensure the safest and healthiest summer for all our campers and staff at Highlander for 2021 and beyond.
We are looking forward to the summer of 2021 like no summer before! After successfully hosting 4 weeks of socially distant Family Retreats in 2020, we feel confident as we move forward to plan a safe and successful summer in 2021 for all our campers and staff!
In preparation for 2020 and Family Retreats, we improved our standard protocols by increasing the number of hand washing stations and hand sanitizer dispensers around camp. We adopted new cleaning routines in cabins and at activity areas, new Dining Hall protocols and social distancing standards for group gatherings like EP.
For 2021, we will continue those improvements and additionally enhance Health Hut procedures, cabin unit protocols and other parts of camp ensure the highest standards of care for your camper. Information on the virus and standards are constantly changing, and we will update our plans for 2021 in our Summer Action Plan.
