The beginning of fall means the return of three things: football, pumpkin spice everything, and, most importantly, CAMP HIGHLANDER HOME SHOWS! Every fall, our camp owners/directors (Bryan and Melissa Fitzgerald) hit the road for our annual Home Show Tour. Traveling through North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, and Tennessee, they gather together with returning camp families and prospective new families alike, enjoying food, fun, and fellowship.

But, whether you are an experienced Camp Highlander family or you’re interested in summer camp for the very first time, you might be asking yourself … what exactly IS a home show? We’ve broken down the basics to help answer that question for you!

WHO:

Anybody! No, seriously. Current, first-time and future camp families, staff members, and alumni all attend our home shows. The more, the merrier!

WHAT:

A time to visit with our camp owners/directors, meet new camp friends (or reunite with old pals), share/hear personal Camp Highlander experiences, learn all about camp itself, and eat some delicious food!

WHEN:

As long as it’s fall, we’re likely at a home show somewhere! From late September through the end of November, we’re on the road. Click the link below (to our Home Show page) for a full list of dates and times.

WHERE:

North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee … and we’re still adding shows. Click the link below for a full list of locations and contact our camp office (at 828-891-7721, or beth@camphighlander.com) for show addresses.

WHY:

Because we love spending time with you! Each summer lasts only eight short weeks and then we find ourselves missing our camp family for the next 10 months. These home shows provide us the opportunity to catch-up with all of our favorite people while making new friends and sharing the magic of Camp Highlander.

So, now that you know everything there is to know about our home shows, we hope to see you at one this fall!
