We LOVE Saturdays at Camp Highlander! This Saturday of Session A was full of all of our favorite things…sleeping in, Dunkin’ Donuts for breakfast, a full day of everyone’s favorite activities (Camper’s Choice Day) and Country Fair!
We had a beautiful day at camp and the sun was shining brightly! There was a skip in everyone’s step, and it felt like we were literally walking on sunshine today at camp. It was the happiest day we’ve had all session. As I drove the apple cart around camp this afternoon, I was struck by the pure joy radiating from every corner of camp. At every activity, I saw smiling campers soaking up the sunshine and savoring every single moment of quality time with friends.

Tonight, the Gillespie Gymnasium was transformed into a full-blown Country Fair! Our activity counselors created booths filled with games, prizes, and sweet treats — from bull riding, a corn maze and balloon darts to caramel apples and face paint. Campers came decked out in western wear or their new Country Fair t-shirts— cowboy boots, bandanas, denim, and hats — ready to celebrate. It was festive, full of fun, and overflowing with that unmistakable Highlander joy.
We’re heading into our final week of the session with full hearts, unforgettable memories… and a few cotton candy mustaches to prove it. We’ve loved every minute with your amazing children and are soaking up every moment we have left. This session is flying by — a sure sign that we’re having so much fun, we’ve completely lost track of time.
