At Camp Highlander, belonging isn’t just a feeling—it’s our mission. From the first high-five at check-in to the quiet moments around a campfire, our staff is here to make sure every child feels seen, known, and valued. Through shared experiences, encouraging words, and acts of kindness, we help our campers connect with one another and discover confidence in who they are.
When the first camper stepped out of the car today and ran through the tunnel, it marked the beginning of something more than just a summer of fun—it was the start of a journey toward friendship, self-discovery, and community. The energy across camp was vibrant and full of promise, as each camper was welcomed into a space designed to lift them up and let them be their true selves.

It’s only day one, and the excitement in camp was electric—and it didn’t slow down for one second. This afternoon, campers jumped right into the heart of camp life, filling every corner of the mountain with laughter, excitement, and the first sparks of new friendships. From curious first-timers taking bold steps to returning campers leading the way with confidence, the energy was contagious. The joy was real, the smiles were wide, and the sense of connection was already growing. Camp Highlander is more than just a place to play—it’s a place to belong. And this summer, we can’t wait to watch that belonging unfold, one camper at a time.
We’re incredibly grateful you’ve shared your remarkable children with us—there’s a special spirit in the air, and we can already feel that this session is going to be unforgettable. Tomorrow holds even more excitement, and we can’t wait!
